This group featuring Jean Sagara, John Best, John Dirac and Marcia Wytrwal showcases the complex yet compassionate music of the "hot Lands" of SW Mexico's Tierra Caliente. This is music with a world influence. One moment vividly depicts the excitement of the bullfight, the next evokes one having wandered into a Gypsy encampment in Transylvania. Come share this unique style of Calentano music, made famous by the late Juan Reynoso.
The program is free and refreshemnts are served. Sponsored by the Friends of the Wellfleet Libraries with special thanks to Ara Ishkanian and Gayle Adams for their fine work on the Program Committee.
The meeting room is on the west side of the building and may be accessed by the Howland Lane entrance when the library is closed.
